An indigenous women-led organization committed to positive change in Kebbi State.
Kungiyar Tallafin Mata Development Initiative (KTMDI) is an indigenous, women-based, non-profit, non-religious, non-political and non-governmental organization committed to the rights of women, girls and children, and to the development of Kebbi State, Nigeria.
Established in 2003 and registered in 2011, KTMDI acts as a catalyst for positive change, bringing hope and support to the most vulnerable in society. We support actions tailored towards promoting gender equality, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, healthy living and social justice for sustainable development.
Our work spans nine thematic areas and is backed by leading international organizations including UNICEF, USAID, UNFPA, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and ActionAid Nigeria, a testament to the trust placed in our impact.
